Dear HFCS Families & Friends,
“I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall not hunger. He who believes in me shall not thirst.” – Jesus
The Eucharist calls us to be the Body of Christ. We are called to spread the Good News of the Gospel, to love one another. The sacrifice of Christ is what holds us together as Christians. As we progress through this Easter season let’s remember the promise of the Eucharist.
Several in our community are either preparing to receive or recently received their Eucharist and many have joined the Catholic faith over this Easter season. We are so blessed to be enriching our community. Blessings and congratulations to all those on these very special faith journeys.
Special thanks to Cara Michael and her crew that put together an amazing Mother Son Dance this past weekend. From the decorations to the dancing it was an amazing evening for all in attendance. I hope this becomes a tradition here at HFCS. Thank you to PIE for sponsoring this wonderful evening.
Volunteers are the backbone of all Catholic Schools. Without the support of our community it would be impossible to provide the wide range of enriched programs offered here at HFCS. From our wonderful parents, grandparents, Grandparents Program, Athletic Directors, parish volunteers, and members of the broader CDA community, we are grateful for all you do and continue to be blessed because of your selfless acts of charity on the behalf of HFCS.
Lord Jesus, you are here with me to guide my footsteps. Teach me to be docile to your guidance. Show me where I am needed, inspire my speech to give witness to you and give glory to God, and fill me with your divine love and Holy Spirit.
Pax et bonum,
Sue Styren, M.Ed.
