Dear HFCS Friends and Families,
During this Lenten season we are challenged to remain rooted in faith. Jesus came into this world to reach out to us all and to teach us what it truly means for us to be His faithful and committed people. Today, as we continue to journey through this season of Lent, all of us are called to examine our way of life and our direction going forward. We may encounter many hardships and trials in our journey, but God will always be there by our side, strengthening and supporting us throughout the way.. May God be with us all and bless our every good efforts and endeavors.
O gracious Master, infuse in our hearts the spotless light of Your Divine Wisdom and open the eyes of our mind that we may understand the teachings of Your Gospel. Instill in us also the fear of Your blessed commandments, so that having curbed all carnal desires, we may lead a spiritual life, both thinking and doing everything to please You. For You, O Christ, our God, are the enlightenment of our souls and bodies; and to You we render glory, together with Your eternal Father, and with Your all holy, life-creating Spirit, now and ever, and forever.
