Dear Beloved Students and Families,
In the spirit of Christ’s love, I am overjoyed to welcome you all to the new school year at HFCS! Whether you’re a returning family or joining our faith-filled community for the first time, we are blessed to have you with us.
As we embark on this new academic journey together, I am reminded of the words from Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” This verse beautifully captures the promise and potential that lies ahead for each of our students, from our littlest learners in Preschool to our emerging leaders in 8th grade.
This year, we look forward to:
- Nurturing our students’ academic growth and spiritual development
- Strengthening our community bonds through shared faith and values
- Exploring God’s creation through exciting learning opportunities
- Cultivating compassion and service in the spirit of Catholic social teaching
To our new families: Welcome to our school family! We are delighted you’ve chosen to join us and look forward to getting to know you. To our returning families: Welcome back! Your continued trust and partnership in education is a true blessing.
As we begin this year, let us remember the words of St. Francis de Sales: “Be who you are and be that well.” At HFCS, we are committed to helping each child discover and nurture their God-given talents.
May God bless us all with a year filled with growth, joy, and abundant grace in Christ’s love.
Pax et bonum,
Sue Styren, M.Ed.
