Dear HFCS Families & Friends,

As another school year draws to a close, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and involvement in our school community. It has been a truly wonderful year, and we couldn’t have achieved so much without your dedication.

First and foremost, I want to extend my sincere thanks to all the volunteers who have generously given their time and energy to support our students and staff. Your contributions have been invaluable, whether it was assisting in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, or supporting our extracurricular activities. Your commitment to ensuring the best possible learning experience for our children is truly inspiring.

Just as the Gospel reminds us, we are all called to discipleship, regardless of our circumstances. Your involvement in our school community exemplifies this spirit of service and dedication to a greater purpose. Like Jesus, who urged us to embrace the most important considerations in life, your actions have demonstrated that the education and well-being of our children are of paramount importance.

As St. Augustine wisely stated, “Lord, you have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you.” Your selfless acts of volunteering have not only enriched our school but have also brought a sense of fulfillment and purpose to your own lives. By answering the call to support our students, you have nourished that hunger within us, that yearning for something greater than ourselves.

As we look ahead to the next school year, I hope that we can continue to foster this spirit of collaboration and dedication. Together, we can create an environment where our children can thrive, grow, and discover their full potential.

Thank you, once again, for your unwavering support and commitment to our school community. May the summer months bring you rest, relaxation, and a renewed sense of purpose for the year ahead.

Pax et bonum,

Sue Styren, M.Ed.
