Dear HFCS Families and Friends,
Here we are partway through August, with summer nearing its close. I hope you are enjoying the weather and making time to focus on all that God has provided us in Northern Idaho. I just returned from a Principals’ Workshop in Boise, where we had a wonderful opportunity to share what’s happening on Catholic school campuses throughout the state. Fr. Caleb led a beautiful retreat on Thursday and Friday and brought great insights into faith formation opportunities for families and staff that will be available this year. I hope you will join me in availing yourself of these great tools. More information to follow soon.
We have a few more weeks of summer, so make sure to take time to rest, relax, and thank God for the wonderful gifts He has provided us.
Precious Father, thank You for allowing us to benefit from the beauty of all that Your hand has created. Thank You for our seas, forests, and skies. Thank You for all the beautiful and fragrant plants, and for the power and wonder of every animal. Thank You for the seasons and the rains that keep our earth reproducing.
Pax et bonum
Sue Styren, M.Ed.
