Greetings everyone! My name is Danté D’Angelo and I am so excited to be a part of Holy Family! I possess a profound love of performing and teaching music. I began a professional career in music performance starting in 2019 with a focus in saxophone, singing, and songwriting across a multitude of genres. Equal to my love of performing, I am proud of my career as a music educator; having taught in the classroom (K-12) since 2018 and giving private lessons since 2015. Starting in the Fall of 2025 I expanded my scope of music education to the college level as a part time Director of Bands at North Idaho College.
I believe in shaping self-motivated, hardworking, knowledge seeking, and Christ-Loving students through individualized learning. I use music to develop one’s creative ability to set and achieve their own goals within the arts, followed by transferring this ability to other aspects of their life to obtain universal success.
Finally, all educators must possess traits and qualities of a good leader. I continue to improve my leadership skills as a Sergeant of the United States Marine Corps serving in Field Artillery. I have learned that gaining the respect of those in your care is invaluable, and transfer this ideology into the rapport I build with my students.
