Dear HFCS Friends and Families,
A Heartfelt Thank You and Congratulations!
We extend our deepest gratitude to the five dedicated families who answered the call and joined our Work Party last Saturday. Their efforts in weeding the front area of the school, particularly the garden surrounding our beloved statue of Mary, have truly transformed our campus. Building upon the foundation laid by our 6th grade class on Thursday, these wonderful families completed the task with enthusiasm and care. The enhanced curb appeal of our school is a testament to their hard work and devotion.
In the spirit of Luke 12:35-38, these families exemplified what it means to be “dressed ready for service” and “ready to open the door” when called upon. Their selfless act of service reminds us of the importance of being prepared and willing to contribute to our community.
We also want to congratulate our cross country and volleyball teams for their outstanding efforts in the final weekend of their season. Your dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship have made us all proud. A special thank you goes out to our coaches who have invested countless hours in nurturing our students’ physical health and character. Like the faithful servants in Luke’s Gospel, you have shown unwavering commitment and readiness to serve our young athletes.
Your contributions, whether tending to our school grounds or guiding our student-athletes, make our school community stronger and more vibrant. We are truly blessed to have such devoted members in our Holy Family.
Pax et bonum,
Sue Styren, M.Ed.
