Principal’s Blog – Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Dear Holy Family Catholic School Families and Friends,

What a joy it is to begin this week with so many blessings to count! This past Saturday, our hearts were full as we gathered for the Mother Son Dance, a truly magical evening made possible by the incredible dedication of our Parents in Education (PIE) committee. A heartfelt thank you to Kara Michael and Lisa Marquis for their inspired leadership — your love for our community shines in everything you do.

As we cheer on our Boys and Girls Basketball teams, we are reminded that sports are a gift that builds character, teamwork, and perseverance. It is an absolute delight to watch these young athletes grow, and we are so proud of each and every one of them!

Today we celebrate the feast of St. Patrick, a man of extraordinary faith who brought the light of Christ to an entire nation. It is a beautiful reminder, especially as we continue our Lenten journey, to reflect on the mystery and gift of the Holy Trinity — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — the very heart of our Catholic faith. May we carry that reflection with us in prayer this week.

Finally, a continued and deeply sincere thank you to our dedicated safety volunteers who faithfully join us each day to keep our campus safe and secure. Rain, snow, or shine, their tireless generosity of time is a true witness to selfless service — and we are so grateful for each of them.

May this week bring peace, grace, and many moments of gratitude to your families.

Pax et bonum,

Sue Styren, M.Ed.
