Gratitude & Appreciation

Dear HFCS Families & Friends,

This week, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the many individuals and groups who have contributed to making our school community stronger and more vibrant.

First, a huge thank you to PIE and Liz McAlister for her tireless efforts in bringing the Missoula Children’s Theater to our school. The theater program is a beloved tradition that enriches the lives of our students, and we are deeply grateful for Liz’s dedication and the support of our wonderful Parents in Education Group.

I also want to recognize Kelly Broker and Meghan Sanchez who set up our Ofrenda to honor All Souls. This beautiful display is a reminder of the importance of remembering and honoring those who have come before us. Thank you for creating this meaningful tribute.

Additionally, we are grateful to the Knights of Columbus and Deacon for making our recent Eucharistic procession possible. It was a truly special day of prayer, praise, and worship, and we appreciate everyone who joined us in this celebration.

Finally, a big thank you to Anna Taylor and Tabitha Rocha for bringing our Health and Wellness Workshops to the faculty and staff on November 1st. The training on Stop the Bleed, Narcan, and Save a Tooth was invaluable, and we are grateful to all the trainers who took the time to ensure that our staff is prepared to handle emergencies on campus.

Your dedication and service to our school community are truly inspiring. Thank you all for your hard work and for making our school a better place.

Marian Consecration Journey

This week we began our schoolwide Marian Consecration using “Marian Consecration for Children” by Carrie Gress. Pope St. Pius X parish is also leading a Marian Consecration throughout this month. We hope that you and your family will join us on this journey.

Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Pax et bonum,

Sue Styren, M.Ed.
