My dear Jesus, You prepared Your disciples for the new life of grace that they would receive after Your death and Resurrection. Though fearful and uncertain, they embraced the new life You called them to live, and You did marvelous things through them. Please open my heart to the full embrace of my vocation and any changes that You desire for my life. I say “Yes” to You, my Lord, and pray that You work powerfully through me by the Holy Spirit. Jesus, I trust in You.
Dear HFCS Families & Friends,
On behalf of the entire school community, I want to express my sincere gratitude for your tremendous support of our annual Gala fundraising event. Your generosity and commitment to our students is inspiring.
I also want to extend an immense thank you to Pope St. Pius X parish for the incredibly generous $20,000 donation made to the school. This gift will allow us to continue providing an exceptional Catholic education.
Additionally, we are tremendously grateful to HMH Engineering for donating their engineering/consultation services and efforts for the upcoming parking lot expansion project. Their expertise is invaluable. Thank you to the Michael and Plass families that are also working on this project with us and donating their expertise for which we are immensly grateful.
I also want to congratulate all the children who received their First Holy Communion or were Baptised and/or Confirmed this spring. Receiving these sacraments is a pivotal moment in a young person’s faith journey. We pray the grace received fortifies them to live as disciples of Christ.
The daily Gospel reading for May 7, 2024 reminds us that change is inevitable in our walk with the Lord. At times, God calls us out of our comfort zones to new challenges and opportunities that can seem daunting. Yet we must embrace these moments with hope, trusting that where He leads, grace will follow.
Though change can bring uncertainty, when we remain rooted in faith, God can turn our fears into profound experiences of growth. May we all have the courage to respond generously whenever the Lord nudges us in a new direction.
