Faith in Action

Dear HFCS Families & Friends,

Sacramental Celebrations

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all our students who received their First Holy Communion over the past few weeks. This beautiful Sacrament marks a significant milestone in their faith journey, and we are blessed to witness their growing relationship with Christ.

Marian Mass and May Crowning

Tomorrow presents us with a wonderful opportunity to honor our Blessed Mother during our special Marian Mass and May Crowning ceremony. We will also recognize our students who have recently received Sacraments and our 8th graders as they approach their graduation.

The procession will begin at approximately 10:20 AM, with Mass following at 10:30 AM in the gymnasium. We warmly invite you to participate by bringing flowers to place before our statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary as a symbol of our devotion and gratitude.

Eucharistic Procession This Evening

We are pleased to announce a Eucharistic Procession this evening at 6:30 PM. This beautiful devotion has been organized by HFCS alumnus Owen Keith, with support from our parish and youth group. We encourage all families to attend this prayerful gathering as we come together as a faith community to honor the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.

Gratitude as We Approach Year’s End

As the academic year draws to a close, we are filled with gratitude for all who have contributed to making this a successful year. We extend special thanks to our dedicated volunteers and generous donors—your support enables our mission of Catholic education to flourish.

Prayers for Our Community

Please remember Mrs. McAllister in your prayers as she recovers from shoulder surgery performed this morning. We also ask that you keep the Pistone family in your prayers as they mourn the loss of their beloved grandmother who passed away late last week. Your prayers are a source of strength and comfort for those experiencing illness, recovery, and grief.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” – Romans 15:13

God bless you all as we journey together toward the conclusion of this academic year.

Pax et bonum,

Sue Styren, M.Ed.
