Dear HFCS Families and Friends,
Congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2023. I am so proud of our 8th-grade students. Last night’s ceremony was tearful for many of us as we bid a fond farewell to this wonderful group of young ladies and gentlemen. We wish them the best as they continue their education through high school and beyond. Thank you to the 7th and 6th-grade parents and students that put on a beautiful awards luncheon and reception after graduation.
As the school year ends, our minds and hearts are filled. It’s been a great year! The strength of our community and wholehearted passion to make our school a wonderful place of learning for our children makes Holy Family Catholic School truly a special place.
Our next few days are filled with excitement.
Tomorrow students will finish their final classwork and projects and helping to clean the classrooms. Opportunities for stewardship abound.
Special thanks to all of you who have contributed in small, large, and unimaginable ways! Organizing at events, working at these events, showing up to support your children, serving on committees, sharing your talents, supporting our work in countless ways, and providing the resources to do what we dream. Thanks for getting your kids to school on time each day, for the kind notes of encouragement that mean so much, and for ensuring homework gets done…and turned in. The most important way you have helped us is through your continued prayers for Holy Family Catholic School. For these and a million other things, we are truly grateful.
To those of you who are leaving us for new places and adventures, we wish you all the best. Congratulations to our very capable 8th graders who are on a new stage in their academic careers!
Just so you can plan…the first day of school begins on September 5, 2023. Watch your email for updates, special events, and an updated calendar throughout the summer.
Have a blessed summer, enjoying family and friends. See you at Mass.
Pax et bonum,
Sue Styren, M.Ed.
