Holy Family Catholic School is a diocesan school affiliated with our three local parishes, St. George’s Parish, Pope St. Pius X, and St. Thomas the Apostle, but we do not receive direct financial support from these parishes or from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Boise. We strive to keep our tuition affordable for our families and remain committed to ensuring that every family is able to attend our school regardless of their ability to pay tuition. We host fundraisers, seek grants, build partnerships, encourage volunteerism, and spend responsibly to make sure that every dollar counts. Please consider sharing your time, talent, treasure, and prayers with Holy Family Catholic School!
Volunteering
HFCS parents and grandparents, alumni, and our fellow parishioners are critical to our students’ growth and success. We encourage our school community to share their time and talents by volunteering at the school. Opportunities abound, including helping in the classroom, coaching a sports team, being a guest speaker, working on maintenance projects, assisting in the lunch room or school office, and much more. Getting involved in Parents in Education (PIE) is another way parents can play a vital role in building up the entire school community.
Fundraising
Holy Family holds three major fundraisers each year: SUCCESS Annual Campaign, annual gala auction, and SCRIP gift card program. Parents, students and staff help plan, organize, and operate these fundraisers; parishioners and friends support them through making donations, sponsoring events, purchasing SCRIP gift cards, and attending events. Our community is also invited to support our school financially through planned giving opportunities, endowments, and the Adopt-A-Hawk scholarship program.
Prayers
Holy Family Catholic School exists because of the generosity of benefactors–those who can donate time, treasure, talent, and PRAYER. We believe that God works at HFCS every day and that He hears our prayers. Please keep Holy Family Catholic School in your prayers: for fidelity and faith, for safety and wisdom, for viability and dedication to our mission, and that we stay true to God’s will in our lives and our school. Your prayers are vital to our continued work in God’s church!
