8th Grade Saints Museum
Who is your favorite saint? He or she just might be featured at this year's Saints Museum, presented by HFCS 8th graders on Tuesday, October 31st, from 1-2:30 p.m. in the school gym. Everyone is welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!
Hawktoberfest is Oct. 27th!
Looking for a fun way for your family to spend a Friday evening while also helping out those in need in the community? If the answer is yes, then attend our 8th annual Hawktoberfest community carnival on October 27th from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Enjoy exciting games, fun prizes, face painting, a bounce house and pulled pork dinner. Admission is a non-perishable food item, which HFCS will donate to our local food banks. Game (4 for $1) and dinner ($5/person) tickets will be sold at the door.
Curriculum Night & Volunteer Fair Sept. 13
Join us Wednesday, Sept. 13th from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for this special opportunity to meet and hear presentations from your child's classroom teachers. This is a parent only event. The elementary class teachers (PreK-5th) will have two 20-minute presentations with a 5 minute question and answer period starting at 5:30 p.m. Ms. Arkoosh will make a presentation for everyone from 6:20-6:40 p.m. From 6:40-7:30 p.m. the elementary teachers will be on hand to answer questions and share important information. The middle school teachers (6th-8th) will be on hand from 5:30-6:20 p.m. in the gym to answer questions. A middle school presentation will begin at 6:40 p.m. for all middle school parents. Members from our Advisory Council, HFCS Parents in Education, a variety of our event coordinators and our Title I Resource teacher are just a few of the contact people who will be available to visit with you.
