Social Studies

With an awareness and respect for God’s creation, and based on a Roman Catholic foundation, our students learn about our world by studying different cultures, geographical features, history and current events.

Activities at each grade level challenge our students to develop skills in observation, inquiry, critical thinking, analyzing interrelationships and problem solving. Students communicate their findings through projects, demonstrations and presentations that integrate both communication and technological skills.

Our social studies curriculum challenges students to develop responsible, ethical and moral values to help guide them in their role as citizens in their communities, the nation and the world.
