Fundraising for Athletics

Our athletics program is supported through fees that families pay for participation.  In addition, we fundraise for the athletic program through our concessions program.  Concessions sales at volleyball and basketball games allow us to purchase equipment for our sports program.

Parents and businesses are also encouraged to participate in our Aces for Academics and Bucks for Buckets programs.  These are pledge programs where participants donate money based on the number of ace serves in volleyball and the number of free throws in basketball.  These funds also support our sports program.

Sports Committee

The HFCS Sports Committee meets monthly and is comprised of the principal, athletic director, a teacher representative, Advisory Council members, coaches, and community members.

This committee assists the Principal and the Athletic Director in creating and enforcing policy, monitoring HFCS’ participation and reputation in local leagues, and providing direction for future expansion of programs. The committee welcomes input and insight from all community members in and outside of the school.

Coaching and Volunteering

Our sports program would not be possible without the support and dedication of our coaches and volunteers.  These individuals impact our student athletes in a profound way.  Our volunteers are not professionals; they are people who believe passionately in providing athletic opportunities for our students.  We always need volunteers to help coach, organize, support, and guide our youth.  If you have a passion for youth and athletics – we have volunteer opportunities for you!  Please contact HFCS at [email protected] for more information.  We cannot offer our athletic program without volunteers!

Message from the Director

Please contact our Athletic Director if you are interested in coaching, helping with fundraising, or serving on the HFCS Sports Committee.

Safe Environment

Any individual who would like to coach or volunteer in athletic activities at HFCS must complete Safe Environment Training.
