Dear HFCS Community,

Welcome back! I hope that your Spring Break was restful, peaceful, and healthy!

Today, we return to our online/remote learning adventure. I’m so proud of the HFCS community and all you’re doing to support our students during the school closure. Our teachers and staff are working tirelessly to provide excellence in education–both spiritually and academically. Our parents and students are making huge adjustments to their daily schedules and learning styles. Everyone is living FAR outside their comfort zones and are protecting our children from the uncertainty surrounding our daily lives. THANK YOU!

Thank you, also, for your prayers and support for Holy Family Catholic School. We are most blessed in our patrons: Jesus, Mary, and Joseph are strong protectors. During this unprecedented Holy Week, please spend some extra time in prayer and remember our school community–those who are suffering, those who are facing uncertainty in economics and/or health, those who are afraid, and those who are alone. Pray for our teachers and staff. Pray for our parents and grandparents. Most of all, please pray for our students. Below is our Holy Family Catholic School community prayer; I encourage you to pray it often!

Our most loving Father,

We come together as a faith-filled community and as Your beloved children to thank you for all the blessings You have given us through Holy Family Catholic School. Through our humble prayers, may You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit continue to bless our school family. With Your help may our school community grow and flourish so that future generations may come to know, love, and serve You. We ask the patrons of our school, the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, to help us as we seek to do Your will and be disciples as we knock at the door. O Lord Jesus Christ, we remember Your words, “Ask and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open to you.” (MT. 7.7)

Amen.

We will have two all-school prayer events this week: Wednesday at 9:30 am and Friday at 11 am. Streaming information will be sent out soon. Please join us!

Have a safe and healthy day, HFCS! I continue to pray for you daily.

“United to Christ, we are never alone” ~ Pope Francis.

Many blessings,

Bridgit Arkoosh, Principal
