Advisory Council

The Holy Family Catholic School Advisory Council is a consultative body which advises the principal and pastors on policy-related school issues. The council consists of three voting members from each of the three representative parish communities (St. George, Pope St. Pius X and St. Thomas), and an additional member-at-large voting member who is a parent of a current or future student. The principal and three pastors are also members of the council, but are non voting.

Joe Dahmen

Hello, My name is Joe Dahmen.  I’m the chairman of the Holy Family Catholic School Advisory Council and a representative of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish.  I received 12 years of Catholic education in Spokane, Washington, before attending Washington State University.    My wife Anita and I have six children, all grown with college degrees.  We also have 11 grandchildren.

Holy Family’s Advisory Council is a very strong and diverse group of people who represent our local Catholic community and assist our principal and priests in bettering HFCS.  In my three years on the council, I have watched HFCS experience record growth and increased community involvement.  I believe our teachers, staff and volunteers are among the best in the region.

It is my privilege to welcome you on behalf of the HFCS Advisory Council. I invite you to explore our website, visit our school, and meet our extraordinary family. I am excited for you to experience all that Holy Family has to offer. In Christ, Joe Dahmen
