Dear HFCS Families & Friends,
With grateful hearts, we invite you to join us tomorrow as we honor those who have served our nation with unwavering dedication. Our special Veterans Day Mass will begin at 10:30 am, followed by a reception to personally thank our beloved veterans. We are truly blessed by their service and sacrifice.
We hope you enjoyed your day off in honor of our Veterans. I had the privilege of attending a beautiful service honoring our Veterans this morning. It was inspiring to see veterans and community members coming together to recognize our hometown heroes.
Parent-Teacher Conferences
As we continue nurturing your children’s academic and spiritual growth, our Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held December 10-12. Your engagement in your child’s education is invaluable to us. Please watch for conference sign-up information in a separate email and schedule your meeting time with your child’s teacher.
Important Dates and Reminders
As we approach the end of our first trimester on November 21st, please take time to review your child’s progress and celebrate their growth.
We will not have school the week of November 24-29. Teachers will have a professional work day on November 24th, but please note there will be no school and no childcare that entire week. We will return refreshed on December 1st to begin our second trimester.
Preparing Our Hearts for Advent
As we enter this sacred season of waiting and preparation, let us prepare our hearts to welcome the birth of our Savior. The season of Advent reminds us to reflect on God’s greatest gift and to share His love with those around us.
Mark your calendars for our School Christmas Program on December 5th at St. Pius X Parish—a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season together as a school family.
May God continue to bless and protect our school community. Have a blessed week ahead!
Pax et bonum,
Sue Styren, M.Ed.
