Dear HFCS Families & Friends,
As we journey through this beautiful fall season, I am filled with gratitude for the many blessings we share as a school community.
Honoring Our Fall Athletes
As our Cross Country and Volleyball seasons draw to a close, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to every student who has participated this fall. Your commitment, teamwork, and gracious spirit have been a testament to the values we hold dear. Through both triumphs and challenges, you have shown us what it means to use your God-given talents in service to your team and school. We are so proud of each of you.
To our dedicated coaches: thank you for your generous gift of time, wisdom, and encouragement. Your ministry to our young people extends far beyond the playing field. You have nurtured not only athletic skills but also character, resilience, and a sense of community. Your positive influence is a true blessing to our students and families.
Celebrating Our Constitution and American Heritage
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Lieutenant George Farragut Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Dr. Gussenhoven for visiting our school this afternoon and sharing a wonderful presentation with our 5th through 8th grade students. As we celebrate 250 years of our great nation, their engaging and educational program on our Constitution brought history to life in a meaningful way. Thank you for sharing this important part of our culture and heritage with our students and school community.
Missoula Children’s Theater – A Week of Creativity and Joy
Next week, we welcome the Missoula Children’s Theater for what promises to be a week filled with creativity, collaboration, and joy! Our students will bring the beloved story of Little Red Riding Hood to life in performances on Friday, October 24th and Saturday, October 25th. What a wonderful opportunity for our children to discover their gifts and share them with our community. We look forward to celebrating their efforts and the fruits of their labor!
Fall Work Party – This Saturday, October 18th
“Whatever you do, do from the heart, as for the Lord.” (Colossians 3:23)
We invite you to join us this Saturday for our Fall Work Party. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve our school community and to build relationships with fellow families. Together, we can care for the beautiful spaces where our children learn and grow each day.
